Chemonics is implementing the Feed the Future Uganda Commodity Production and Marketing (CPM) Activity. CPM is implemented through a five-year, USAID-funded contract that began in March 2013. CPM increases the wealth and long-term prosperity of rural families in 34 Feed the Future focus districts by using innovative methods to increase the quantity and quality of beans, coffee and maize that they are able to produce and sell.

Job Summary: The Monitoring and Impact Evaluation Assistant will be responsible for the provision of Monitoring and Evaluation support to program activities. The incumbent supports development and management of activity MIS, Activity reporting, conducting Activity performance assessments and ensuring regular data analysis and use. The Monitoring and Impact Evaluation Assistant will support the monitoring and Impact evaluation specialist in monitoring results, Activity Reporting and date management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Offer technical support in the development of a performance monitoring and evaluation plan and implementation of the plan Participate in creation of an M&E capacity building plan
Manages the development of an M&E contact database and creates a central filing system for the Activity’s data and key documents
Actively participates in periodic field visits to ensure that activities are being implemented in accordance to work plan and schedules
Provides assistance in organizing M&E workshops, field activities and in preparing relevant resource materials
Using the activity data, assist with compiling the narrative sections for monthly, quarterly and annual reports
Work in liaison with the technical team to analyze program data for performance tracking and informed management decisions.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
