Monitoring & Evaluation Officer – Kampala – National Organic Agricultural Movement of Uganda

About US:
The National Organic Agricultural Movement of Uganda (NOGAMU) is the membership apex organization that unites the producers, processors, exporter, NGOs and Business Support organizations involved in the Organic Sector in Uganda. NOGAMU is responsible for promotion of Organic Agriculture in Uganda under the areas of: Market development, Training, Research& Extension, Standards and Certification and Advocacy.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· In charge of the development and implementation of an effective monitoring and evaluation framework
· The M&E Officer will implement and ensure achievement of the strategic and operational plans
· Develop and supervise implementation of a vibrant and efficient monitoring and evaluation framework
· Conduct regular analyses in the different implementation models and make recommendations if any for better results and impact
· Prepare technical monitoring reports on quarterly and annual basis as may be required from time to time
· Identify implementation gaps and bring them to the attention of Unit Heads for immediate actions

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Bachelors’ degree in Management, Business Administration or any other related field
· A minimum of two years’ experience in Monitoring and Evaluation
· Computer literacy i.e. working knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
