Job Summary: The Office Assistant will support manage general cleanness and maintenance of WaterAid in Uganda’s office together with managing the office canteen.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and order in office premises
Ensure the offices, reception room, and boardrooms are kept neat
Provide support to staff in moving documents around the office
In charge of photocopying/Binding Office documents as and when requested
Responsible for preparing tea and sourcing lunch for staff.
Updating and maintaining a kitchen inventory e.g. initiating purchase requests for kitchen and cleaning requirements plus toiletries.
Responsible for opening and closing up WAU officers at the end of the day to ensure safety and security
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Secretary
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant for the WaterAid Office Attendant vacancy should hold an Advanced level certificate of Education (‘A’ level) or (“O” Level Certificate)
Excellent Interpersonal relationships
Ability to work well with limited supervision
Willingness and ability to work beyond normal working hours
The Office Attendant should have the willingness to do cleaning sanity work and office errands
Customer care skills
Good planning and organizational skills
Good relationship building skills
Fairly good knowledge in Computer skills
