About US:
Welthungerhilfe (WHH), founded in 1962, is today one of the biggest non-governmental aid and development agencies in Germany. We campaign against worldwide hunger and for sustainable food and nutrition security by promoting site-appropriate farming, establishing access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene, improving healthcare and education for people living in rural areas. Welthungerhilfe currently has four areas of operation in Moroto, Lira, Adjumani, and Fort Portal.

About RIAS Project:
In anticipation of a grant from the German Government, the organization will implement a long-term project “RIAS – Strengthen Resilience through Infrastructure, Agriculture and Skills” in Arua and Adjumani District possibly starting in March 2015.The project aims to improve the livelihood of refugees and local host communities in the settlement areas.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Technically support the management in the efficient operations of the project
Responsible for all human resource issues (employment/ consultant contracts, etc.)
Responsible for the operations related procurement, logistics and fleet management
Manage stock list and inventory of the organization
Ensure compliance and adherence of the organization rules and regulation and requirements

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The candidate should hold a university degree in Business Administration or related field
At least five years’ experience in similar position with international NGOs
Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize work with close attention to details even under pressure of deadlines
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and supervise office staff
Ability to resolve diverse problems
Excellent oral and written English
Excellent computer skills (Excel and Word).
