Project Manager – Kabwohe – Integrated Community Based Initiatives

Job Summary: The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day planning, coordination, management and implementation of Strengthening Population Case Based Surveillance of HIV and TB interventions in Sheema and Rubirizi districts. The incumbent will be working with the district stakeholders to ensure overall project success. He/she will lead the project staff providing technical and strategic guidance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the project is implemented according to proposal and work plan in collaboration with all partners and stakeholders in the districts.
Prepare project monthly and quarterly reports as required by the Donor and other stakeholders.
Prepare and disseminate project information (Progress reports) to relevant key stakeholders and ensure that the IDI-Academy project is implemented without deviation unless otherwise as approved.
Work in liaison with other program officers to ensure efficient, effective and proper use of project resources.
Organize and prepare project review meetings in liaison with the Monitoring & Evaluation Director.
Coordinate joint supervision, monitoring and evaluation visits with DHT
Supervise and evaluate project staff performance under jurisdiction.
Respond to the Prime and IPs team’s interests and concerns over interventions and manage each stakeholder’s expectations
Actively participate and assist in any other organization work as deemed necessary.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate must hold an MBChB and MPH or MS Epidemiology.
Previous experience in designing and executing health surveillance systems is an added advantage but not required.
