Project Manager – Kampala – RETRAK

You will be responsible for providing overall oversight of the implementation of Retrak’s Family Reintegration and Prevention of Separation (FRAPS) project, working with Retrak’s Ugandan implementing partners Tigers Club (Kampala and Wakiso) and Child Restoration Outreach (Mbale). You will monitoring implementation, facilitate the review of project progress and compile regular grant reports for the donor. You will manage the learning and advocacy activities within the project in order to improve practice in reintegration and prevention of separation programmes in Wakiso and Mbale districts.

You will also participate in enumerations of the street child populations in Kampala and Mbale through building local relationships with governmental and non-governmental agencies to facilitate the planning, implementation and review of the enumerations and their findings

With your experience of managing project implementation and learning activities, you will understand how to make the most use of information to inform decision-making and learning. An ability to think critically about results, communicate clearly in person and through written reports, and facilitate discussions amongst children, community members, government officials and staff, will be essential.

With a learning-focused approach, you will be committed to working to achieve better lives for street children and families vulnerable to separation.
