Skills for Life Uganda is a regional management consultancy firm currently operating in Uganda and South Sudan. The organization is specialized in resource mobilization (fundraising) for NGOs, organizational development, Research (Base line surveys, KAP surveys), monitoring and evaluation, peace building and capacity building.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· The Project Officer will support the Business Development Officer in the implementation of day to day activities of the organization
· The job holder will take lead in identification and recruitment of clients
· Maintain regular communication and clients relations
· Coordinate and represent the S4L in networking, information sharing and other events
· Assist the BDO in conducting organizational assessments to determine level of donor attractiveness
· Perform any other duties as you may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The Project Officer should hold a University degree in Business Management, Project Planning or related field
· A year’s experience in customer and public relations
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Excellent computer skills Ms word, Excel, internet
· Detailed orientated and highly organized worker
· Ability to work on own initiative in an innovative manner
