UAP Holdings Limited is the pan-African Financial Services Company with a primary purpose of acting as a holding company for the various UAP businesses. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
In charge of planning publicity strategies and campaigns
In charge of writing and producing presentations and press releases
Dealing with enquiries from the public, the press, and related organisations
Actively organising promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits
Speaking publicly at interviews, press conferences and presentations
Offering clients with information about new promotional opportunities and current PR campaigns progress
Regularly analysing media coverage .commissioning or undertaking relevant market research
Works closely with clients, managerial and journalistic staff about budgets, timescales and objectives
Designing, writing and/or producing presentations, press releases, articles, leaflets, ‘in-house’
Journals, reports, publicity brochures, information for web sites and promotional videos.
Responsible for filling, records, ensure you have all material are well label for ease of identification.
Relationships with style influencers and tastemakers, with a presence in the fashion industry and community.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should have solid knowledge of lifestyle media and highly-developed skills in building and maintaining media relationships.
Awareness of celebrity talent, films and TV
Sophisticated knowledge of media and track record in securing favourable publicity
Possess the ability to illustrate a results-focused approach and commitment to clients.
Past experience managing client relationships as well as day-to-day activities.
A multichannel communicator and integrator of media strategies across several channels, specifically earned, shared and owned.
A strong team orientation is critical based on the collaborative culture.
Excellent media and editor relationships.
Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities
Proven skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution marketing, communications and public relations activities.
Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.
Prior experience developing and managing budgets, and hiring, training, developing, supervising and appraising personnel.
Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating with media.
Past experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
Computer literacy skills with proficiency in word processing, page layout and knowledge in Adobe, illustrator or graphics system
Exhibit commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
Out-of-town, overnight travel is required.
