The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) was established to implement the provisions of The UCC Act 2013 Laws of Uganda with a principal goal of developing a modern communications sub-sector and Infrastructure in Uganda, in conformity with the operationalization of the Telecommunications Policy.

Job Summary: The Senior Officer CERT will implement and monitor CERT, cyber forensics/security policies, guidelines and frame work in line the Commission mandate

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate for the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) Officer Postal Compliance job opportunity should hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, ICT, Engineering (Electronic, Telecommunications, Computer), or in any relevant area and;
· Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, ICT, Engineering (Electronic, Telecommunications, Computer); or in a related field;
· At least four (4) years’ experience in Information Security or related area in a similar corporate setting
· Personal Competencies: Information Security, Information Management, Cyber forensics, Working knowledge of Computer hardware, Internet applications, Cryptographic technologies, Communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, Initiative & Innovation and impeccable integrity
