The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) was established to implement the provisions of The UCC Act 2013 Laws of Uganda with a principal goal of developing a modern communications sub-sector and Infrastructure in Uganda, in conformity with the operationalization of the Telecommunications Policy.

Job Summary: The Senior Officer, Compliance will oversee the legal investigations and activities in respect of compliance of the Commission’s operations in accordance with the applicable law for the efficient running of the Commission’s operations.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate for the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) Senior Officer, Compliance job opportunity should hold a Master’s Degree in Law; a Bachelor’s degree in Laws and a Post Graduate Diploma in legal practice
· Enrolled an advocate of the High Court of Uganda
· At least four years of relevant working experience in a similar corporate setting ,
· Personal Competencies: Stakeholder management, Legal Enforcement, Information Management, Business Alignment, Good interpersonal skills, Good communication skills and High degree of integrity
