Q-Sourcing Limited is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and South Sudan. Our client is one of Uganda’s Telecom companies, Africell.
Job Summary: The Franchise Agents will study market dynamics and competitor activities as well as proactively manage company brand visibility and product knowledge needs for agents of all special partners and provide timely feedback so as to contribute to efficiency in service delivery.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Customized Branding for Special Partners:
· Carry out site surveys for locations suitable for customized Special Partner branding and make recommendations to the Channel Diversification Coordinator for review and further action
· Brand new Special Partner locations with appropriate branding materials based on company branding guidelines
· Regularly report all old branding materials discovered in the assigned duty station for replacement with befitting branding requirements
· Actively monitor company brand visibility impact at Special Partner locations against competition and make appropriate recommendations
· Support Company Money as and when required
2. Market Intelligence Gathering:
· Gather information regarding company and competitor margins in the assigned duty station and report weekly
· Closely monitor competitor promotional activities in the assigned duty station and provide weekly updates on its impact
· Survey key locations which are suitable for promotional activities and activations in the assigned duty station
· Check availability of company airtime in the assigned duty station and provide accurate reports
· Take part in surveys and market research as and when required by company
3. Training and Refresher training for Special partner agents/Merchants and Direct Staff:
· Participate in on-boarding new Special Partner agents on company products and Services
· Identify training needs for Special Partner agents and forward to Channel Diversification Coordinator for further analysis and preparation of materials for corrective coaching
· Ensure that all new staff at the Special Partner agent location is fully trained on company products and services
· Evaluate training effectiveness for all trainings conducted for Special Partner agents and provide a report
· Continually identify better ways of work and share this with the team and management as appropriate.
· Promote and maintain a high quality, professional, service oriented company’s image among all Special Partners.
· Build strong working relationships with all Special Partner agents to foster top of the mind awareness of the brand as well as brand ownership by the agents
· Escalate and follow through on all queries submitted to them by Special Partner agents within agreed timelines
· Consistently engage Special Partner agents in brainstorming to get their ideas on how Company can grow to become the market leader
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor/or line manager
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The applicants for the Franchise Agent Jobs should hold Diplomas in business related field
· Solid knowledge of Company products and services.
· Company performance standards and measures.
· Company Code of Conduct.
· Working knowledge of Africell employment terms and conditions
· Possess the ability to analyze, interpret and report statistical information
· Able to operate in a performance driven organization
· Fluency in English
· Comfortable with smart phone use
· Good riding skills with a valid permit
· Strong customer focus
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
· Possess basic research skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Sets high personal standards and is goal oriented
· Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
