Objective
To strengthen the Secretariat in preparing the guidelines for future Nile Basin development forums (NBDFs) , specifically to evaluate the last NBDFs, in addition to capturing some recommendations, evaluation reports and other related conference reports to be reviewed and the information used as a basis for preparing Guidelines, Templates, Approaches for the next NBDF.

Scope of work & key deliverables

Revise the Guidelines by Nile-TAC in 2004/2005 to include a pragmatic and ready to use guidelines and recommendations and roadmaps for future NBDFs preparations. The scope of work of this assignment covers all aspects of preparation, conduct, evaluation, reporting and follow on selected topics. The specific scope of work includes, but not limited to, the following:
· compilation of evaluation reports, declarations, other documentations ,messages, and other communications from the different Forums as well as making recommendations on
· Source additional elements required as appropriate
· Mapping of NBI /NBDF important stakeholders as desk review exercise
· Share the draft with selected staff for comments and suggestions for improvement
· Incorporate comments and finalize draft;
· Submitting within the agreed timeframe

The expected output is new guidelines/recommendations for the preparation of the subsequent NBDFs
