Appliance World Ltd (the company) is one of the largest organizations in Uganda dealing in consumer electronics (refrigerators, microwaves, audio products, televisions, and washing machines), commercial air conditioning and mechanical ventilation, mobile phones, computers/network monitors.

Job Summary: The Showroom Manager will be responsible for the entire operations of the showroom from opening it, to controlling inventory to balancing the cash against books and leading a team of 6 sales people. The incumbent will be tasked to arrange deliveries and ensure that products reach customers on time as well as arranging installation of products for customers who would like us to install the product.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Opening and closing the showroom, ensuring that it is cleaned and ensuring that all items on display are clean and dust free.
Ensure that the feeder store (the store that supplies showroom customers) has the required stock quantity and is refilled with stock from the main store if required.
Balancing books at the end of the day to ensure that cash in hand matches with the books, this also includes balancing of sales via credit/debit card.
Ensure that all items are on display. This involves coordinating with the sales and marketing manager and stores to see what is in stock, in the bonded warehouse and getting information on new arrivals.
Achieving set sales targets which are set monthly.
In charge of preparing quotations for clients.
Processing orders received through purchase orders and getting them approved, after which they should be delivered.
Calling and chasing customers who have taken goods on credit but have delayed in paying.
Acting as an HR Manager for the staff you are leading – the cashiers, sales staff, store keeper and driver.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should possess necessary qualifications to execute the duties above
Computer literacy skills i.e. proficient in MS-Excel.
Good knowledge in Tally ERP will be of advantage.
