About USAID RHITES-E Project:
IntraHealth International will implement the USAID RHITES-E which supports the Government of Uganda (GOU) and key stakeholders to increase availability and utilization of high quality health services in 21 districts in Eastern Uganda and 2 in Karamoja by strengthening health systems and improving the quality of, access to, and demand for health services with attention to equity and underserved populations.

Job Summary: The Training Coordinator will oversee all training and Ql activities and deliverables for the USAID RHITES-E Activity, under the supervision of the Director, Health Systems Strengthening, and ensure that Ql is an integral part of ALL programming to ensure quality service delivery. S/he will also work closely with project staff to ensure successful implementation of training and Ql activities at district and site level for improved quality of health care services. This position will maintain collaborative relationships with key partners such as other Health Manpower Development Centre, Regional Ql Committees, trainers and mentors.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate for the USAID RHITES-E Project Training Coordinator career opportunity should hold a Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, adult education, organizational learning, or a related field.
At least five years’ experience in district management or project work, coordinating training, knowledge management, and/or monitoring and evaluation, health, and/or education projects.
Extensive knowledge and experience in planning and implementing training courses for adult professionals on topics related to Quality Improvement TB, HIV, Malaria, RMNCH, Nutrition, Family Planning and performance management topics.
Previous experience in building organizational capacity in Quality Improvement monitoring, evaluation, and strategic learning preferred.
