Water Technologies Program Manager – Gulu – IsraAID

Job Description:
Coordinating the implementation of training programs in the field of WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) in Gulu, Uganda, with IsraAID’s program manager director and Uganda country director.
Leading the program’s technical team in expertise and vision.
Developing the technical training programs.
Implementing training programs in collaboration with local staff.
Managing logistics, budgets, and general administration of technical training project.
Representing, IsraAID at meetings with government, community members, Gulu University, and other NGO’s.
Monitoring, evaluation and reporting on WASH projects

Hiring Conditions:
Relocating to Gulu, Uganda.
IsraAID will cover all living expenses while in Uganda including flights, fully equipped accommodation, transportation, medical expenses and meals.
6 working days weekly. 5 vacation days every 8 weeks.
Home visit of 2 weeks, middle of deployment.

Minimum qualifications:
Advanced educational background in water or environmental engineering/science.
Experience in teaching/facilitation.
Hands on laboratory experience.
Very good human relations.
Excellent English, both written and oral.
Strong interpersonal and team skills, management experience preferred.

Preferred qualifications:
Experience working in non-profit organizations.
Experience working in the international sphere.
Experience working/volunteering in developing countries.
