Job Summary: The Product Support Sales Representative will have the responsibility of maximizing caterpillar equipment user satisfaction and acceptance for dealer parts and service products. The incumbent will support caterpillar equipment users in achieving low operating costs through recommending cost effective options and appropriate product support programs aimed at helping the customer make informed decisions
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Visit customers, both old and new
Promptly and effectively resolve customer complaints
Sell the companies parts and service opportunities
Ensure prompt delivery of parts and services and corresponding invoices to the customer
Achieve the set targets and performance objectives
Expeditiously follow-up on invoices to ensure payments by the customers
Responsible for the preparation and updating customers’ profile list
Implement relevant marketing and promotional programs
Accurate completion and timely submission of call reports and other related reports
Perform custom track services
Support in the development of parts- service merchandising programs
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The Product Support Sales Representative should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering
Past technical experience of three years
A minimum of two years’ experience in the same industry is preferable
Highly computer literate
Possess a clean and valid driving license
Excellent writing and reporting skills
Good communication and presentation skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Initiate and generate activity and make prompt clear decisions
