Job Summary: The Weighbridge Clerk will oversee and manage the Company’s weighbridge services

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Carry out accurate weighing of all in-bound and outbound cargo vehicles including commercial/private vehicles
· Ensure that the weigh bridge weight and expected weight agree and that any variance is sorted out before vehicle is release
· In charge of documenting/recording all the transactions and generating appropriate daily/weekly reports.
· Coordinate the payment of weigh bridge services with the cashier
· Keenly analyze/ study the weigh bridge reports to ensure consistency and perform consistency checks
· Ensure accurate documentation of all weighbridge transactions
· Reconcile the expected invoice weight and actual weight and actual weight of outbound cargo and take corrective questions where values are beyond
· Weigh only private vehicles that have been paid for and a receipt produced by the cashier.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate should hold at least hold a UACE certificate. Possession of any Business-related diploma is added advantage.
· At least a year’s experience in a commercial environment.
· Computer proficiency skills
