NBL imports and distributes Castle Lager and Grolsch in Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be analyzing a wide range of samples
Maintain lab equipment and ensure safety in the Malting Laboratory
Actively participate in trouble shooting and problem solving
Compile, send and present timely reports
Actively communicate and give regular feedback to all stake holders ,
Work in Teams
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should hold a Higher Diploma or Bachelor of Science Degree in either Food Science or Biology or Chemistry or Biochemistry or Industrial Chemistry.
At least two years working experience as a lab technician.
Working knowledge in Occupational Health and safety policies and procedures in a Foods and Beverages plant environment
High integrity and attention to detail
High energy, balanced personality self- discipline and drive, conceptualizing and innovative thinking, goal orientation and a strong output bias.
Proactive mindset, self-driven, self-starter and with initiative; ability to communicate (verbal and written),
Go getter attitude
Computer literacy skills i.e. Word, PowerPoint and Excel is an added advantage
