About US:
CURE Children’s Hospital of Uganda is a non-profit Christian Hospital located in Mbale and Africa’s only center for pediatric neurosurgery with a mission of transforming the lives of children living with neurological disabilities and their families in the developing world.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired Or must have operated at a level of a Principal Nursing Officer.
At least five years’ experience in a similar role with a recognized organization preferably a PNFP/NGO. Added advantage having worked in a senior management position.
Possess a current certificate from the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council
Additional training and experience in training and human resource development
Possess excellent supervisory, training, performance evaluation skills.
Broad working knowledge of general scientific principles, practices, specialized techniques used in the practice of nursing.
Ability to remain calm during stressful conditions
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Ability to work autonomously.
