About USAID RHVP Project:
Abt Associates is implementing the five year Uganda Voucher Plus Activity (in its second year) which is increasing access to safe motherhood services in private facilities in Northern and Eastern Uganda by engaging private providers in contracts to provide quality safe motherhood services to qualified impoverished women presenting a voucher purchased in communities..

Job Summary: The Regional Clinical Quality Assurance Manager will provide clinical mentorship and technical support supervision of RMNCH activities in accredited Private Health Facilities in line with MoH policy for CQI in MNCH.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate for the USAID Regional Clinical Quality Assurance Manager job placement should hold a medical degree (MBchB from a recognized University)
Completion of internship and registration with the Uganda Medical & Dental Practitioners Council
Possession of a Master’s Degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Public Health will be an added advantage
Specific training and or experience in RMCH technical areas is added advantage
A minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory position managing maternal & reproductive health programs in reputable NGOs (desirable)
Previous exposure and experience as a practicing clinician/surgeon in a busy CEMONC facility
Experience working with private health sector providers (desirable)
Experience working with District local governments and other local players in health(desirable)
Proven abilities to plan and implement capacity building activities and workshops
Previous exposure and experience in mentorship and coaching providers on clinical and medical Issues
Advanced written, presentation, and communication skills in English
Ability and willingness to travel extensively in the region
Understanding of Northern Ugandan dialects (desirable)
Must be Ugandan national
