Environmental Health Officer (3 Job Careers) – Kampala – Concern Worldwide

About Concern:
Concern Worldwide is an international non-governmental, humanitarian organization whose mission is to help people living in extreme poverty achieve major improvements in their lives which last and spread without on-going support from Concern.

Job Summary: The Environmental Health Officer will be responsible for improving hygiene behaviour and sanitation coverage at schools and community level, and train people to manage new and existing water facilities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate for the Environmental Health Officer Jobs should hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Public/Environmental Health
Three or more years’ experience in planning and implementing environmental health interventions with an INGO.
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Excellent training/facilitation skills;
Good knowledge and understanding of current standards/guidelines for WASH,
Basic computer literacy skills;
Hold a valid Class A driving permit.
The candidates must speak Luo.
