Job Summary: The Research and Development Officer will mainly be responsible for working together with the marketing and production teams in planning, initiating product development strategies, testing and application for finished products; improve on already existing products and research on clay products to come up with new product designs to meet customer requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· The job holder will develop and initiate application tests for the finished products to ensure that they meet the required standards.
· In charge of initiating product development strategies to meet the demand of customers.
· In charge of improving on already existing products.
· Research on clay products (raw materials) and come up ’ with new product designs and tests.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The Research and Development Officer should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Ceramics.
· A minimum of three years’ experience in a manufacturing company.
· Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
· High degree of integrity and honesty.
