About Us:
The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) was established to implement the provisions of The UCC Act 2013 Laws of Uganda with a principal goal of developing a modern communications sub-sector and Infrastructure in Uganda, in conformity with the operationalization of the Telecommunications Policy.

Job Summary: The Senior Officer Research & Development will provide timely and effective socio-economic information, and to develop, conduct and evaluate research and innovation towards the development of communication services in Uganda as well as the improvement of UCC processes.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate for the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) Senior Officer Research & Development job vacancy should hold a Master’s Degree in Economics, Business or related field; and
· Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Statistics or related field
· At least four years’ experience in research functions in a similar Corporate setting.

· Skills and experience in stakeholder management

· Project management skills and knowledge
· Good information management skills
