About US:
The Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) was established by the Equal Opportunities Act of 2007 and is mandated to provide a framework for redressing imbalances which exist against the marginalized groups while promoting equal opportunities for all.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Initiating and conducting research relevant to the mandate of the Commission
Regularly analyzing the findings and making recommendations
Studying and identifying relevant issues from research conducted by other Agencies
In charge of developing acceptable project proposals/ research tools and instruments for approval by the Commission
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The Senior Research Officer should possess an Honors Degree in Quantitative Economics, Population Studies, Statistics, Demography, Public Policy, Social Sciences or Social Work and Social Administration (SWASA) from a recognized institution. Possession of postgraduate qualification with research methods will be an added advantage.
At least three years of relevant working experience at the level of Research Officer in Government or equivalent level of experience in reputable organization.
The applicant should be Competent in Research and information management.
