Tibet Hima Mining Co., Ltd is a Uganda registered company and a subsidiary of Tibet Automobile of the republic of China which won the bid for managing and operating the Kilembe Mines conceded assets. Tibet Hima Mining Co., Ltd (THMCOL) took over full operations to resuscitate the mining business at Kilembe Mines Limited using modern technology which are of high quality, relevant, timely, accurate and tailored to the mining and mineral processing industry.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The Safety Officer should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in science particularly in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, Certification in QA/QC.
· Possession of a Post-graduate training in health & Safety.
· A minimum of three years’ experience in health, safety and management.
· Demonstrated ability to enforce compliance with required health safety and environmental standards.
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
· Discretion and respect for confidentiality and privacy.
· High degree of integrity and honesty
· Age: Between 25-35 yrs
