Field Sales Executives – Upstream Limited – Kampala

Upstream Limited is the market leader in the logistics industry in and around the East African region. Through our sister company (Mitchell Cotts) and a network of selected international business partners, we have continuously invested in our products and services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensuring the achievement of weekly/monthly sales targets
Generating new business as well as ensuring existing clients are fully serviced
In charge of identifying and preparing sales proposals that are best suited to the customers’ needs
Responsible for preparing weekly/monthly reports particularly comparing targets against set against targets achieved

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The candidate should hold a university Degree or Diploma in business related field
At least two years’ experience in sales
Be commercially aware and have good knowledge and understanding of the logistic business which will be an added advantage
Possess excellent negotiation skills as well as well as the ability to think on your feet and problem solve.
Excellent presentation skills and be able to explain complex ideas in an easy to understand way for the benefit of customers.
Computer literacy i.e. proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office Suite
