Sales Coordinator – Freshcuts – Kampala

Freshcuts is the leading meat processor of various chicken and meat products. Freshcuts is ISO 22000; 2005 certified by Uganda National Bureau of Standards and is also accredited on an international level by Bureau Veritas. Freshcuts operates under three trademarks which are “Fresh Cuts”, “Quality Cuts” and “Le Sandwich”. In July of 2012, our company in a bid to serve the community better merged with a multi conglomerate company in Mauritius called IBL Ltd. In 2015, IBL Ltd took over Freshcuts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will process, coordinate and follow up on sales orders daily.
Organize daily deliveries in an efficient manner so as to maximize resources such vehicles, fuel etc.
Communicate effectively with cross functional departments like production to optimize production and meet customer requirements.
Regularly monitor customer needs, maintain a good customer relationship, and build a customer base.
Anticipate sales opportunities and market changes that might affect sales projections and lay strategies accordingly
Daily allocation of work tasks to delivery drivers.
Support the Sales Managers in the daily sales/delivery monitoring.
To pull out sales reports and any analytical tables as required.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant for the FreshCuts Sales Coordinator job placement must hold an Advanced Diploma in Sales and Marketing OR Business related field.
Extensive knowledge of Distribution and Retail chains.
At least two years’ experience in an FMCG sector.
I.T proficient (MS excel, MS word), analytical reporting.
Flexibility to work long hours and on weekends.
Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment and self-driven.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
