Sales Manager – Kampala – Roke Telkom Ltd

Roke Telkom Ltd. is a licensed Public Service Provider and Public Infrastructure Provider, with the Uganda Communications Commission dealing in Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) call termination and Wholesale Data, trading as Roke Telkom.

Job Summary: The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the Sales function to ensure that the Company’s overall sales strategy and targets are delivered. This role will therefore play a key part in driving the success of the organisation

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Be responsible for leading in the development of the Company’s Sales Strategy and then managing that through to implementation and delivery stages.
Ensuring that the department’s goals and targets are closely aligned to the vision, mission and objectives of the company.
Take lead of the sales team in a way that empowers them to sell company products effectively and in line with the Company core values
Play a key role in advising Management on key markets trends and product development in order to develop successful and competitive product initiatives and enhancements.
Be responsible for developing and maintaining key strategic stakeholder relationships.
Design and maintain an annual Sales budget, providing detailed monthly and quarterly reports on all sales activities including projected product sales and all income generating business activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The candidate should hold a University Bachelor’s Degree
At least four to six years’ experience leading and managing a sales function
Past experience in selling and managing telecommunications products and services
