Job Summary: The Sales Representative in the North & Western regions of Uganda will work directly with the Area Sales Manager and the National Sales Manager to ensure the brand is strong in their area, generate revenue by developing market potential through lead generation, and most importantly closing sales to hit targets as well as support the implementation of after-sales services.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The applicants should preferably hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree
· At least three (3) years of work experience with at least three (2) years of sales experience
· Previous experience working in rural sales environment in a microfinance setting is desirable
· Demonstrated ability to hit sales targets
· Prior experience with and ability to effectively work with teams
· Ability to customize and clearly communicate the organization’s value proposition, including quantitative and qualitative benefits to the customer and the consumer, for written and verbal presentations to all types of stakeholders
· Ability to manage inventory and after-sales services processes
· Outstanding written and verbal communications skills in English & key languages spoken in your region
· Ability to learn and share technical specifications of the organization’s products
· Computer literacy i.e. proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Google Apps
· Passion for the organization, products and our customers’ experience
· Good team player
· Demonstrated ability to execute on key duties and implement projects to resolution
· Strong organization and critical thinking skills
· Ability and drive to work independently
· Humility, honesty & flexibility
