Sales Representative – Kampala – Kiboko Group

Job Summary: The Sales Representative (Key Accounts) will serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and handles the distribution of the brand or set of brands within assigned outlets. The Sales Representative is responsible for building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, ensuring visibility, achievement of sales targets and delivery of high quality customer service to the existent and potential clients. The jobholder will also be responsible for sourcing new clients by visiting Big supermarkets, Pharmacies and private businesses/Companies and also collection of receivables and is the key source of information for movement of goods/brand and as one of the responsibilities is to bring back market feedback.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Sales Focus and Collections:
Carry out intensive and structured prospecting of new clients to identify and develop new accounts (Big supermarkets, Pharmacies and private businesses/Companies)
Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Introduce the company’s profile and communicate the selection of products available
Focus on increasing the sales and supervise the sales process by follow up on orders, deliveries and collections
Provide market feedback to the Sales & Marketing Manager regarding movement of goods / brands
Ensure payment of receivables in a timely and diplomatic fashion
Render support in sales forecasting and strategic plans based on business customer needs priorities
Develop deliver sales presentations
Spot and Seize commercial opportunities.
2. Customer Focus:
Build and maintain effective customer relationships in order to build strong loyalty
Handle and respond to existing products queries from clients quickly, effectively and accurately
Build new relationships through office and field visits
Develop and maintain customer relations and key accounts
Provide customers with the appropriate selection, sampling of products in response of their inquiries and provide quotations accordingly
Anticipate the clients’ needs and provide appropriate solutions to meet these needs.
Direct calls on customers sell in initiatives like new brands and packages marketing promotions
3. Product Knowledge: Stay abreast of the market conditions and trends in the field pertinent to brands / products.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicants for the Sales Representative (Key Accounts) jobs should hold Bachelor’s degrees in relevant field from a recognized institution
One year of related work experience in sales and marketing in an FMCG environment
Sales and customer care services
Proven pharmaceutical sales experience
Working knowledge of MS Office
Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Strong organisational and time management skills
