Job Summary: The Storekeeper will primarily ensure adequate stock levels, safe custody, monitoring and control of stock
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be receiving incoming stocks, monitoring and placing orders when necessary
Ensuring that all customer deliveries are in line with set policies and procedures
Tasked with ensuring stocks are properly stored within warehouse
Conducting regular stock takes and maintaining Cadex Records
Responsible for raising and posting of transfer orders and receiving reports
Filing of warehouse documentation
Issuing of gate passes for outbound office equipment
Supervising stores staff in daily operations
Updating and maintaining stocks on the ERP system
Responsible for recording and safe keeping of claim tyres
Carrying out general warehouse housekeeping as required by the company
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate must hold a KCSE Grade C and above
Possession of a Diploma in Stores Management / Materials Supplies
Accounting or CPA 2 & above will be an added advantage
At least two years of relevant working experience in stores management
Proficiency in Computer Applications. Exposure in ERP will be an added advantage
Broad knowledge and understanding of sales procedures
Previous exposure and experience in a similar or comparable role with skills in stores management will be an added advantage
High Customer orientation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
