Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation – Uganda (Baylor -Uganda) is a private not for profit NGO that provides: HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention services; maternal child health services; Health Professional training and Clinical Research.

Job Summary: The Pediatrician (New born) will be responsible for developing and monitoring the implementation of systems and procedures for provision of comprehensive neonatal care in the assigned district and at Kabarole Hospital in line with Ministry of Health Guidelines for Maternal and Neonatal care and helping baby breath plus (HBB+) training manual.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The applicant should hold a Masters in Paediatrics.
· Two years’ experience in managing maternal health programs/projects
· A year of relevant working experience preferably in health development at a senior management position, with a reputable international NGO, and direct experience with government and donor representatives.
· Past experience in program work is an added advantage
· Excellent team and communication skills
· Be dynamic, Persuasive and convincing
· Highly self- motivated
· Ability to demonstrate high initiative.
